Not too long ago, someone was marketing a solid bar version of the classic chain handcuffs (solid steel bar instead of a loop).
Does anyone know who marketed this and if it is still available?

The only device I can recall seeing with a bar would be the Australian Bar Escape. I haven't heard of any recent items fitting your description...then again I probably wouldn't be one of the first to hear about it. Good luck!

I use one just as you describe. Steve Santini was marketing it at one time and I recevied mine as a gift from him. I don't know if he is still having them made or not. I LOVE mine! I much prefer it over the loop. The loop is becoming pretty well known whereas the bar isn't. Also, the rings afford a presentation for examination that is superb! If you get one PM me about the presentation- you'll love it!

The solid bar HC (Santini's Lightning Bar Cuff) is different from Myrick's 'Australian' Bar cuff (which uses a steel tube rather than a solid bar). But, both are good, from what I gather.

Sadly it would seem that the link I posted regarding santini's lighting bar cuff is no longer working. It also appears that it's no longer available at the EARL either.

I saw that Roslyn, and very sad it is. I had seen the item when you first posted it a couple of weeks ago, and set about to saving up the cash. I have the money now, and it is gone. The one at Abbotts is still up and looks ok, but EARL's looked better. Oh well. the audience will probably never realize the difference anyway.
