My die and shell are getting scratched. The painted dots are scratching off.

How might I go about repainting perfect circles? I assume that applying a clear coar on top will protect them from again getting scratched, but I can't figure out how to get the blasted dots painted on!

Get some vinyl self adhesive circles at the art store or a decal shop.

I worked the problem in reverse. I wanted a black die with white spots, so I first painted the entire die white. Then I used Avery label dots (3/4") and stuck them on in the proper numeric combination. They served as masks, as I then painted the entire die black. Once dry, I peeled away all the labels, and clear coated the whole thing. Black die with perfect white dots!
