You aren't going to manipulate a parrot. The Creature is going to manipulate you my friend. Best of luck!

Georgio,

Several people like Dave Womach sell parrot harnesses and I belive Abotts sells them too. An act that uses pure parrots is the Hamners, they uses multiple maccaws and it is expensive.

Giorgio, what kind of parrot do you have? It depends whether you are using a small, medium or large one.

Get the two videos of Dave Womach "Secrets of Bird Magic" Vol. 1 & 2. These are the only ones that show you how to train and load your parrot in a harness and several good effects as well. As a matter of fact, there are no other publishings (books, videos, dvds) on this matter except Dave's. It's worth it!

Hey Thanks Lou! Glad you liked the videos!

They're available through Steven's Magic or Hank Lee. I also sell them. Just email me if you're interested. DaveWomach@Yahoo.com I accept paypal.

With regards to parrot harnesses, from experience, I noticed that cockatoos (sulfur crested, umbrellas and mollucans) are easier to load due to the fact they are more of the cuddly species. Sulfur crested ones are the destroyers. They chew up anything. My harness is an exception for this type.
Try loading a macaw and you'll know what I mean.

Lol

I have an umbrella cockatoo and I think I'd rather stick my hand in a propeller than try to wrestle her in a harness.

Dave,

I checked out your videos and your work with the birds is awesome. Just goes to show what training can do. After nearly 15 years of training with my bird, she can make me do just about anything she wants me to. lol.

I have four videos available for parrot training, non magic. I also have two videos available for magic with parrots. Unfortunately for marketing reasons, I felt I had to add doves and parakeets as well. However, I think all the content is strong, and you will learn a handful of new things. The magic videos are available through Steven's Magic Emporioum, and the Training Videos are available through http://www.BirdTricks.com There is a flight training video available through that web address I listed. It's for parrots, doves, parakeets, cockatiels, etc... anything.

Thanks!
