It all ended in an idea for a trick:

Place a deck on the table and gather 10 people. Ask each to concentrate on a random card but make it hard by not choosing a card they think might be commonly choosen. Ask spectator one to name his choice, then ask spectator two and so on until two people has named the same card. Do not ask the rest of the ten what they thought of but ask if any of them also thought of the card you got a match on. This will make sure that you won't hear more than one match mentioned which you would risk if you asked each what they thought of.

Spread the deck on the table and show that a single card is reversed. It matches the card you managed to mentally send to the two (or more) spectators.

Method: Invisible Deck.

Notes: Should you get no matches, ask an 11:th spectator to point at any one of the ten and his card will be found reversed in the deck.

Excellent man.. Persi Diaconis has lecture of Coincidence at Princeton's Public Series website also very cool..he is friends with Ricky Jay and a magician as well..teaches math at Standford I believe..
