I'll second Misdirections in SF as well my personal favorite on line Hocus Pocus in Fresno Calif.

I've been to the Cuckoos Nest in Pittsburgh, Mistdirections in SF (great store), there used to be a very good store in Boston (someone else can supply the name). Living in New York, Tannen's is there but I've always been disappointed in their stock of books and I'm not thrilled with the new location.

I will go with two places.
1)Tannen's magic in NY. The myth and the fact you get good service. I go there twice a year when I am in New York for business. 2) Magie Spectram in Montreal. My hometown store where I can order what I want. Slim |
