There is an effect that was popularized as a stage illusion by Doug Henning, where an assistant would slide down a shoot and vanish only to have someone new appear on the other end. The trick was remade using a card. The effect was a playing card was dropped through a flat shoot whereupon it would change into a different card. There was a version made by Tenyo called card changer, but I thought there was another, similar effect available somewhere in the magic universe. If so, does anyone have any information?
