Hi folks,

I'm looking to take Airborne out of the beginning of my show and replace it with something that has the same kind of feel, not a big "look at me" magic trick, but something magical that just happens to occur while I'm talking about something else. That's how Airborne fits in my show at least.

So any thoughts on a trick that can sort of just happen and catch people off guard?

I used to open up my shows with a flaming book, which can be big and "look at me" but it doesn't have to be if done right. It always set the right mood for me though. Another option may be an appearing object, in the past I've used an appearing bottle and for a very brief time in my life an appearing cane (it didn't make sense for my personality so I put an end to that). Lastly, You may want to simply do a simple vanish. I've always thought the vanishing shotglass could be a nice visual opener.
