Hello. I'm a newbee to The Magic Café but not to magic. In my years of magic, I have always heard of Double and Single Fans. I know they are not twin fans but do not know what the difference is between them. Can you guys describe them?
Thanks,
Drew

A single fan is just what it seems, one fan of cards. A double fan is when two fans (in the same hand) overlap. The easiest way to practice this is cutting half the deck and fanning it, then sticking the other pack on top of that fan, and fanning it. If you're really interested, check out Jeff McBride's Card manipulations videos.
