Guys,
I love flourishes and think they are amazing.
I was wondering if anyone could give me any pointers on learning this cut from Brian Tudor
Thanks for the help

Hi CardShark,

First, it would be easier if you knew the original Sybil cut by Kris Kenner, which can be found in his book, Totally Out of Control, or you can also have the explanations for Sybil in Geoff Williams' lecture notes, "The Lectures Your Father Never Gave You" (Geoff is a member of the Magic Café Forum), which are very well made by the way!

The reason is that all those cuts are simple variants of the original Sybil cut, so once you know the basics and can do it well (practice!!!), you could even modify it yourself to suit your own needs and/or performing style!!!

Anyway, I suggest you buy Geoff's notes (as his instructions are easier to follow) and then you'll find it very easy to learn both Brian Tudor's variations on Sybil.

Or you could also (it just crossed my mind) go on http://www.expertmagic.com and download the FREE video by Cap Casino that teaches the Blind Rotational Sybil (BRS) which is a Sybil false-cut, this would give you some basics, and the explanations in Cap's videos are very good.

Anyway, I hope this helps.

Do you have Show Off volume 1?
(I only have volume 2, and most cuts require that you previously know the One-Hand Revolution-I, which is only explained in volume 1 - that sucks!!!)

Ciao
