Who heard or saw new illusion "Cube-Ism"? (Bill Smith is putting out a new Steinmeyer creation called Cube-Ism). Inform effect of this illusion. Where it can be seen?

It was advertised in magic in the past year...Dig through the magazines.....

I have a photo from Magic Ventures warehouse

For 25.00, you can order a video of Cubism being performed from Magic Ventures. I know because I have that video.

What is the effect? Are the plans available? What is the price? Is it surroundable? Just curious.

Can anyone advise the effect of Cube-Ism, and photo or vid, thanks.

Yes, and if it is Op-Art, it's Willy Kennedy who built the prop, not Bill Smith.

I hadn't seen the illusion Pendragons performed on the video. That must be Cube-ism. Op-art is very different. I believe the only ones performing Op-art presently are Jiner and Kalin. I saw them perform it at a special showing at the underground for the IBM convention. It was really good. But then so is the one Pendragon's perform on the video.

I am not familiar with Cube-ism. Though the Pendragon illusion left me a little...cold. And a little, eh, Now what? Though I did think that the final reveal was interesting. It just seemed to lack some kicker. Anyone else?

If that is what the illusion is, are there other performances of it?

I think I saw a version presented on french TV but I can't remember who it was, neither when and which TV show. Maybe Rafael knows. I'll try to check my video library.

Try to contact Bill Smith from Magic Ventures to find more out. I think nobody else has the right to build this illusion.

I know that Mark Kalin is not the only one doing Op Art, Steffan Soule also does it.

"Op Art" owners include:
Mark Kalin, Steffan Soule & Bob Higa

Cube-Ism owners include: the pendragons, Lance Burton & Belmont
No plans are available !
Only Bill Smith has the rights to build this (and he does a wonderfull job, as always)

Both are great illusions that are (still) very seldom seen.

Ps for Oliver: As far as I know this hasn't been seen on French Tv (maybe you saw it on youtube)

If I am not mistaken, Rick Wilcox also owns an "Op-Art".
