I didn't know exactly where to mention this, or even if I should, but Café member and friend of mine "Professor Piper" could use your good wishes and prayers. He's run into some personal problems (no drugs or anything under his control) and doesn't have a place to live at this point...or in 2 more weeks. I'm sure he would appreciate some kind words in PMs from fellow members. His username is Professor Piper, and his name is Terry.

Be well folks, and lend an ear if he might need one, and some support!

Steve

Hey Terry.
Remember, it never rains forever, the sun will come back out.

Sorry to hear that you are going through some of life’s bad times. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I wish you the best, and if I can be of help, just let me know.

Greetings Terry;
Hang in there Buddy, help is coming.

Anyone reading this may also want to check the DVD for sale section, I just posted an offer up that can help Terry and get you guys some new dvds as well.

You have many friends here at the Café, the sun is coming back out soon.

You guys will never know how much your support and kindness has helped me keep my perspective in this whole thing....

I'm about 8 or 9 days from being forced 'out'...Which will also mean no way to get on the Net on a regular basis (I WILL be able to go to the public library and log in to check emails and stuff periodically though...)....

While it may still be raining, you guys and the Café have provided one heck of an umbrella...

For this, and many other things, I'm grateful.

Professor...

I'm crap at encouraging people, because I'm self-absorbed and think things are going badly when the entire world is on my side.

I'm also in Germany, so I can't be any help in a literal sense.

But maybe, just maybe, it might encourage you to know that I would give you a bed to sleep in, and all the food you could eat, and beer too, if I could. That's because I've read enough of your posts on the Café to have an opinion regarding your character.

So in this weird, virtual internet world, I consider you a friend.

Take care, brother!

Thank you, my Unhinged German friend, I have read many of your posts as well and think that we'd have a pretty good time hanging out...

And a GREAT time if you added in that Rocket fuel you Germans call "Beer"...

LOL

Thanks, you gave my spirit a definite lift!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Professer but soon it will run its course and fortune will favour you I'm sure...

As a friend of mine would always say, we need the rain for the flowers to grow...

She was a bloody hippie though...

Good luck mate.

Declan...

Thanks mate (said in my VERY bad English accent)...

I had a hippie friend once too...

He said, "The rain is depressing, but it washes the slate clean..."

I smacked the loopy grin off his face for that one.
(kidding)

Thanks again....The sun has started peeking out from the clouds and I'm putting on the suntan lotion...

Gonna be a good day.

It may be the patchouli. . . though to be honest, my wife puts it in our laundry so I always have that fresh, shower in a bottle scent. Smile

I'm kidding by the way. But not about the laundry. . .

Terry, if you need a place to collect your thoughts/sanity/whatever you're always welcome here.

Steve, I've got nothing against old hippies...

It's the young ones that bother me...lol...Kidding.

Mark, thank you so much...Like I told Seth, if I'm ever in your neck of the woods I'll definately look you up!

Thanks again guys...Whether you believe it or not, you ARE keeping me going and helping me keep from going insane here.
