Last I heard, Rachel's surgery was scheduled for the 22nd (next Monday.) Is this still the case?

Yes, Surgery is to go underway on November 17th.

Hi everyone, a brief message just to let you know that Rachel is now recovery in ICU. I spent an hour with her and she opened her eyes a few times and nodded letting me know that she knew I was there. What a joy!!
I am home now as they do no...t want you around in the ICU at night time. I will be able to give you more details as they are available to me but surgery went well. I realized one thing: If I did not have a heart attack today....I will never have it. Wow....what a day...what a tension.... Rachel was great, strong and always positive. After 45 minutes from surgery she was already breathing alone without help from machines, tubes, etc. Amazing. Please bear with me at this time and keep Rachel and myself in your thoughts and prayers. Love to all, Aldo |

More great news Rachel is up and walking so the doctors might let her leave the hospital on Saturday but she did say it feels like a truck hit her. Thank you for your prayers and donations

"Hi everyone, I got home (apt in NYC) about 1 hour ago, thanks to all your thoughts and prayers and Aldo's dedicated patience and love. I have to admit that I feel like I have been hit by a truck. So glad to hear that it sounds like things are going well. I bought the book and have encouraged others to, but are there any updates on how the finances are working out? Do they still need some fundraising efforts to pay some bills?

http://www.Magic4miracles.com has raised 21,000 so far thanks to all the magicians around the world but Rachel need 200,000 for the total hospital bill for some great news Rachel and Aldo are back in Florida things are looking positive:)
