We shot 2 lectures in 2001 with Cellini. One in Baltimore and the other in New Orleans. We also shot video of Jim hanging out with Gazzo and Danny Hustle in a bar in Boston. I bet you guys would love to see that right?

Is this a rhetorical question? A promotional teaser? A strawpoll to gauge interest?

Or are the tapes truly lost and you're just agonizing us?

Three questions since you asked.

First,
"Were the tapes really lost or did Jim not like the idea
before he passed on?

Second,
"Did you recently discover your own footage?"

Third,
"Are you planning to sell this as a dvd or offer
it as gift to the community?"

I would say, "Yes" if his estate approves and Jim
wasn't opposed.

Hey before this gets too carried away, I think Koz and I should explain something.
About 15 years ago, when Koz was filming the interviews, he was still kinda green,..
a bit unsure what to ask.
Off the top of his head, he popped the question,
"So guys, what's your favourite type of Tape?"
(!),(,...he's improved,.. slightly,.. through the years.)
Gazzo replied first,
"Scotch Tape! Emphasis on the Scotch."
Danny Hustle,
"Duck Tape! Emphasis on the DUCK!"
Cellini, thoughtfully,..
"Being in France lately,..
the wine,..
the mademoiselles,..
Crepe Tape,.. lightly sugared."

yeah,.. Koz, out of questions,.. found a good reason to pause,..
ordered everyone a round.
Cellini slipped out, to smoke (or eat?,... not sure..) a cigarette,
and when he came back,..
Gazzo was enjoying his Scotch,
Danny his Duck,..
BUT,..(!)
Cellini's Crepe was missing!

(everyone suspected D...., naaaa.)
(let's stick to FACTS!)
but, friends were no longer friends.

Years have past. Going thru some old boxes at home, in his celler;
Kozmos came across this box.
We opened it up,..
!,...!
just looked for yourselves!

now here' s the deal:
Two bucks the foot,..
A Fiver get you a meter.
(Koz, this is 60:40 right?
,..and a roll of Duck for Danny,..
alles klar?)

Send your orders today fellas,..
this is a sticky business,..
but it's gonna roll.

Who was it that signed a contract so that they would get a monster share of the profits, only by the time all was said and done, the company made sure there were no "profits" to get the monster share from?

Wayne Houtchin (sp?), that's who. I answered my own question as I was writing it down here.
