I have not seen Sean's performed. Don Wayne's I am familiar with.

Honestly, the best versions of this I have ever seen were Blackstone and Copperfield, Henning too, in the 70's. In the case of each, the most impressive parts of the trick were performed by a heavy type of silk IT. Take a look at a manuscript for the Ralph Adams' Dancing Hank. I would say that, if you can stage it, that is the best ever. Blackstone's version is also for sale, I believe. I have both.

Also, the original Don Wayne version was effectively done by DC, but it was really a very minor part of the rest of the routine. The hank dancing behind the silk was a clever way to appear to transport the silk to another location.
