Hey guys,

Great ring performance by Chris. The 2nd effect has me stumped. I've seen it performed, but never bothered to ask the name of it.

Any ideas?

Friend Bill is CORRECT!

We both have many ideas! Here comes the 'but': But, we don't discuss secrets in this forum.

When you have 50 posts, another forum ("Secrets") will open for you.

However, NO magician EVER asks: How is "that" done?" or, "How do you do that?" It's a matter of COURTESY, and ETHICS.

You will need to "earn" your way. READ! STUDY! (THERE AINT NO SUCH THING AS "FREE LUNCH"!)

Hi gents,

I think there's been some misunderstanding. I'm not looking for anyone to reveal the secret, just the name of the effect so I can purchase.

Just done a little more digging around and it looks like Divorce by Justin Miller.

Cheers,
Alex

Hope this helps.

The half dollar finger ring can be purchased from Penguin Magic in various sizes, for only $20.00.

Just think, a full half-hour show with this coin finger ring, and a shoe lace, along with all the finger ring tricks.

Or you could make one of those. Its fairly simple and takes a little over an hour.

What is the cost of the tools to make your own, and which tools are necessary?

Here is a video explaining it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Q8aokoIH9Y I used a drill bit instead of a punch, but other than that I just did what he said. Depending on what tools you already have it will probably only be a little more than the $20 to buy the ring, and you can make as many as you want.
