About 10 years ago Dean Dill and my self worked on this idea ,you will not find it in written up as far as I know.
Deans handling was a little different than mine, but both bascially the same.
a few days ago magician warren contaced me and asked for the handling, I forgot I did this effect until now

Looks good, I used to do something like this but forgot about it, thanks for the reminder. I wonder how many of us forget routines we used to do and only remember when someone else mentions that they saw you do it ?

Yeah, I like it. It needs a really sharp move to be convincing. I also think that pulling backwards as well instead of just downwards can help tremendously keeping the pen apparently close to the bill. Finally, I found that it works better if the tip of the pen is of the same colour as the shaft.
