You know the one I mean, right?
I like it, I've always thought it was a snazzy piece of jewelry so the natural question now is, Who makes them? I discovered that despite what ever we call it, it looks like it can be googled relatively easily as a "Double wishbone ring". What I'd like to know, is if you were going to buy one, where would YOU go looking? Also if you'd like to share any anecdotal information about the ring, it's particular shape, style and history I would greatly appreciate it. I'm always interested to learn more about it. links, pictures and all manner of intel please and thank you. (Side note, is it just me or would a Mokume Gane version of the ring just be dead sexy?) |

http://www.stevensmagic.com/shop/magicians-ring-m-ring-bjw/ I have always known the ring to be called the 'M' ring and it is made by BJW Magical Jewelers, which is a company based here in Michigan (Farmington Hills, which is an outlying suburb of Detroit). The lady that purveys their products at various conventions and shows around the country is the founder Harriet Jacobson and she is an absolutely fantastic person to talk to. The company also makes other very pretty magic-themed jewelry that can be customized to your needs/likes/tastes. |
