I've put a hold on cards and going to get real into ring and string. I got that vid, you guessed it, Ring Leader, to get me familiar with the handlings. The vid is great but I have questions about the first false insertion Gregory Wilson teaches.

Was wondering if there were any tips on the action to make the move look more deceptive? I've sat down and examined how I would thread a cord through a ring and watched my brother do it also and I've always noticed the re-grip pause but I'm not sure when is the best time to have that pause and how my hands should be positioned.

Just any little movement to make the move look real, extra, extra fair and natural. I'm new to the whole ring string thing so any tip is greatly appreciated.
