Recently I am obsessed by "Color Changing Routines". I good friend showed me "the colour changing usb/flash drive routine" by Chad Long. Oh God I remembered the good old Knives routine. I truly regret that I sold my knives. My research showed me Cards, Paddles and poker chips. Are there some other "new" Version of this trick?

I believe you found the gammit of items, the new stuff is the brass chips and of course the flash drives. Everything else is old, and redesigned.

Color changing knives

I now have an Enardo original Color Changing Knife set a generous Café member sent me free of charge! He felt bad I lost my expensive Mogar set to airport security. These are never leaving my house!

Really, the way these handle, they are way superior to any others I've owned! Here's a pic:

I think color changing routines are beautiful. I love visual magic and what's more visual than something changing colors. Well I guess a transposition to another item. Either way, turning a red silk to a blue silk right in front of spectators' eyes is sure to get a positive reaction. Big fan of chameleon silks. Simple, close-up and visual.

Well, there's silks. DT is a different method, but still a color change effect. There are also wands and canes that change color.

There are color changing sponge balls. And color changing thimbles. With a TT you could make a white pearl poodle, put it in your fist and open to reveal a pink pearl poodle!

I think and thing with a handle can do such things.
I have seen Gaetam Bloom do a Biting and Restore apple routine using a knife stick into an apple= =!

Color changing flash drives, silks is enuf for me

A silk change in the hand is a beautiful effect.

It sure is! An 18" pair o' silks and a Palmo...or, the 6" Chameleon Silks by Tenyo! That's one to get good at!

Been thinking how to do color changing feathers with paddle principle.
The feathers would be 2 feet long (high?)
I think it would be a great stage effect.
Push the feathers through a tube and it changes color.
Could be done with several feathers.
Or lick a lollipop and blow on feather and it chagnes.
