I've recently decided to sell my back-up "Just In Case" which also includes a "Just A Key", until I saw this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NONKvne05uY . Although I couldn't understand a word that was spoken, it was apparent a spoon passed thru the eye of a key. After watching it several more times, I came to the conclusion the key used was probably Joe Porper's "Just A Key". This got me to thinking about other uses/routines for a "Just A Key". Yes, I'm aware of the routine Mike Close put out. Would like to hear any and all suggestions.

Thanks for posting LUCHEN doing our "just a key" -- that's the finest routine I've seen with the key. Luchen is one great performer too.

The gentleman's name is Luchen? I was really impressed with his routine.

Just started playing around with the spoon idea. I've discovered that a particular style of spoon is needed.

Sweet routine with the key! You can also use a flat blade screwdriver for a similar effect. Still the spoon really adds drama to the penetration. It looks totally impossible.

He did a pretty good turn with Bill Abbott's Smart-a** routine too.

Harry,

Great idea with the screwdriver. Why didn't I think of that?

It just made sense to me since I'm a tool belt wearing red-neck! It is what is at hand! Head out to your local Home Depot or Lowe's with your key and find the screwdriver that works. It is much easier than finding that peculiar shaped spoon handle.

Nice effect. Reminds me of the sankey ring and spoon routine which is also very nice.

I am not Japanese and don't understand what they say but every time I see one of these magic videos from a Japanese TV show it seems they REALLY love and really react BIG time to magic. Anyone else see that?
Thanks,
