The string is snapped into pieces and rolled into a ball which is stuck onto one of the remaining strands. The ends are pulled, and as the little ball unravels, the string is restored.

I actually watched the clip and was wondering which version she performed. My understanding was that the Dragon Thread was different from the Gypsy Thread which is different than...you get the idea. So which one was this? I've never learned any thread stuff and thought this one looked pretty good.
