Could someone help me? I have been wondering what those dice games are that people are playing on the streets. The ones that are always shown in the movies? Since dice games, for gambling, are not popular at all in my country, I have practically no knowledge of the field whatsoever.

The street game is 'Craps'. Same name as in the casinos.

But how do the rules change as they cannot have the layout on the street?

Simplified rules and bets are usually used by those playing the game on the street.
Since no table is used the bets are vocal.
