The gimmick falls all the time I just can't get it into my thumb:S:S help is needed when I write the gimmick falls of etc:(

Use a different Swammi. I got a Vernet Swammi (TT) recently and it's easy to use.

I agree w/ Bernard. I've tried a few different types and find that a Vernet or band types are the most secure for me.

I personally like the Super Sharpie because it's self contained.

So I paid for nothing or? Isn't there a way to enhance the grip or something? Make it smaller or something?

Maybe, since there are different styles, we have no way of knowing exactly the issue. It sounds like you may need to grow your nail longer, or bend it so that it is tighter, if it is an under-the-nail metal one.
