He was a big magic fan. I saw him at the Castle and at a magic convention years ago.

Belkieve it or not, I actually STEPPED on his FOOT by mistake, while he was shopping at one of the Magic Castle Swap-Meets in the late 80's.
He was in heavy disguise with a wig, sunglasses, fake sideburns, & teeth, but he didn't fool ANYONE! Everyone knew it was HIM *haha* Later that SAME day we saw him again at the Hollywood Magic Shop on Hollywood Blvd. =Frank=

Met him once too in shop I work in. Had to close the shop for him as he didn't want anyone else in besides his people and the workers in the shop.

He once came into the Hollywood Magic shop costumed as HIMSELF! He was wearing the cheap plastic mask that has the rubber band to snap around your head and the very cheap wig and hat. It's was mondo strange.

Met him twice in disguise, once at a PCAM convetion in LA where he was in an arabian berka. Then years later at Dupars restaurant in Studio City he was disguised in a hira crisna outfit complete with hood and peach colored mask. Both times he was surrounded by an entourage, and both times he didn't fool anyone, evrybody knew who he was. He liked magic and I know a few who taught him some close-up back in the day.

In the 80s, I was a drummer for an act signed to Epic Records. The label gave our band tickets to the Jackson's show in Mile High Stadium, Denver. That was the best hour I've ever had experiencing another artist's work.
