Here's an Article I published yesterday sharing some of my important memories of Terry. http://www.mylessinclair.com/blog/ Please feel free to leave a comment or share a story.

I'm sure Peter won't mind if you post the same comment or story on his page as well.

Sad to hear. Did not know Mr. Seabrooke, but he was a great influence on me.

Bill, was this around 1974? I was at that convention and the highlight for me was Terry. He was the first comedy magician I had ever seen. I was 13 at the time.

Fr. Cyprian and I had a conversation about Terry last night and what he meant to both of us. If Terry was your friend, you knew it. There was a genuine depth to that friendship that was rare. As Leslie said, Terry was a one off. We will miss him greatly. There was a small list of great friends we always looked forward to seeing at Blackpool each year. Terry was on the top. I met him in Connecticut in the 80s, and we have been good friends ever since. I will always remember Terry sitting on Bob Bloencks knee in my room in 1997 singing as Bob played, we were all brought to tears. You had to be there. But there were hundreds of those special moments. See you soon my friend, save us a spot.

In the 1970's Patrick Page invited me to attend a Magic Circle Auction and Terry joined us. When I expressed an interest in one of the items coming up for sale, a member who was standing behind us asked me (knowing that I wasn't) if I was a member.

Terry very pointedly answered, "No, but he has friends who are!" The rebuked member slithered away without further comment!

Terry was a generous man who couldn't tolerate humbug!

Leslie.

My computer had been down for nearly a month, so I only found this out when I saw the the obituaries in my M.U.M. Needless to say, I am shocked and very saddened.

We'll miss you Terry! Keep breaking those threads!

R.I.P.
