Hi, I use one for my flying gear, tried it for magic but needs to be kept organised and small items end up at the bottom.
For close up gear look out for vanity cases in Boots, Debenhams etc. I you are a guy a nice pink one will give you some gag lines. Paula

In our magic club were always competing for the smallest case, we all use small make up cases that look like flight cases. We don't normally use the make up so we throw it away, put some foam in the bottom, and they work wonders for table hopping.
