Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows where to finds little cases (jackets…sleeves?) for gaffed packet tricks, possibly in bulk.

I bought a ton of gaffed card trick sets but they are all together. It would be nice to be able to have cases to hold each individual effect. Thanks in advance. Smile

Many magic retailers and joke shops have these. A Google search on "plastic card wallets" might throw up some options. I stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you in your quest, if only because I used to have the same problem. It was due in part to annoying things like this that I developed an interest in doves.

I never cared for the plastic packet-trick cases because they tend to look cheap (IMO). Jerry O'Connell makes a genuine leather version of the same thing, as seen here:
http://www.world-of-magic.co.uk/BiFold_P......1788.asp

O'Connell also makes a "tri-fold packet wallet", which hold multiple packet tricks, if you're so inclined. I would bet Denny & Lee carries both O'Connell wallets, along with many others.

If you must have the plastic ones, Haines House of Cards [(513) 531-6548] usually has them, though they are currently (as of this writing) out of stock. I would expect they'll have them in soon enough, though...

If you want a way to store the cards the clear plastic baseball card collector pages work well!

We just put out a few new ones as well, new leather, I love them. http://www.wizardcraft.com. I am the distributor of all JOL products. There is a Bi-Fold 4 pocket trick holder, the regular Bi-Fold Trick Holder, the Single Trick Holder, and now a variation on the with pockets on both sides so you can switch a packet trick call the Switch Trick Holder. The Packet Trick Wallet is the Tr-Fold that houses multiple packet tricks. In my opinion made in the best leather to date as well.

I'm with Thomas on the good looking O'Connell products! I have a few of his coin tidies and have seen the card cases. They are very well made and IMO look way more professional than the plastics!

I found a small leather zippered case (I believe it was for a PDA) at a biz supply store, made a multi pocket index system to keep cards/packets separated. It's served me well for a few years now!

I love my JOL Packet Trick Wallet, but no longer use it for long term strorage. the edges of some of my gaffs absorbed the dye from the leather and they now have conspicuous brown stains.

I now use the plastic ones for longer storage but my leather JOL is great for everyday carry.

Our leather one are lined to prevent the dye stains and have a divider on each side.
There is also an external indicator so you know which side is which.

Here is an Itilian magic wholesaler, Di Fatta Magic. They have what you are looking for "Packet Trick Holder" in black or red. They list them in Accessories - Miscellaneous look on page 2, or try Packet trick holder in their search engine.

I found a leather credit card holder at Walgreen's, years ago, and I removed the vinyl picture holder insert. The trouble is that I couldn't find any more of them. I suppose that I could just use a typical bifold credit card wallet, but it would be much larger than what I use.

I'd probably just lose a separate wallet Smile

Below are a few interesting pages that you might find useful. On the other hand you can always go to a local printer or staples or office max and ask if they have some of the holders for sale. My local printer sells them for .50 cents each.
