Most everyone here knows that if they want to place their name on a prop case, that an office supply store such as Office Max/Office Depot/Staples sell block letter stencils. You generally spell your name out and take the string of letters to the case and spray paint away.
You can also have a custom stencil made, and the benefit to having one of those made is a better choice of fonts and symbols, as well as a precision cut jumbo stencil that can be reused. There are also suppliers that will custom cut your logo out as a stencil, which is even cooler still. I had a custom stencil made locally, but it wore out and it took them about a week or so to get around to punching it out for me. So I decided to search the web and see if I could order something similar or better. I found this particular company, Yankee Stencil Company and late Wednesday night (actually early Thursday a.m.) placed an order for a new stencil. To my surprise, the new stencil was sitting by the mailbox on Saturday! The stencil was exactly as I had designed it online, and looked pretty good. So if your are intersted in a custom stencil, I would happily recommend this company to you. Chris Pictured is a case made by Jack Murray of Dream Illusions Click here to view attached image. |
