A completely custom deck of playing cards based on the Elder Futhark, the oldest runic alphabet from Germanic & Nordic tribes.
You will find a total of 24 runic letters used on the number & court cards. The runes on the aces spell out the corresponding suit and the jokers feature a decorative octagram.

The main feature of the back design is based on the famous rune circles. A double back & informational card are also included.

Besides using this as a fun unique deck for your next card game, it is also perfect for performing mysterious themed magic tricks and using for cartomancy.

I picked this up recently, and was very pleased with it.

I'm not sure I'd use it for standard card magic, but the Runes do give it a unique feel, and it would certainly be ideal for certain types of magic that make use of a mystical presentation.

It's certainly a fun custom deck, with a great novelty look.
