The annual gathering of the Texas Association of Magcicians (T.A.O.M.) takes place this coming weekend in Dallas, Texas. Over 600 registrants are expected to attend this major event on the convention calendar. Talent booked this year includes Harry Anderson, Johnny Thompson and Pam, Fielding West, David Stone, Rob Zabrecky, David Ginn, Allen Okawa, Shin Lim, David Magee amd more. This year's featured Guest of Honor will be Tom Mullica. And it will be a unique opportunity to meet Burton Gilliam. Who's that, you say? He was one of the main actors in the Mel Brooks' movie, "Blazing Saddles" (perhaps you remember the famous "bean scene" around the campfire?). It's not too late to register. The magician who brought the Doug Henning props was noted collector and cruise ship magician, Chip Romero from Lake Charles, Louisiana.
