I call it Day Zero since the convention hasn't officially started. But there is a lot to talk about and a lot of people to talk with. This short podcast is full of great interviews including Lance Burton, Rolando Santos, Michael Messing, Aubrey Fine and Bill Koch. If you aren't attending this year's convention, then listening to these podcast updates is the next best thing to being here. If you are attending, then listen to what you may have missed.

Day 0 is hot and ready. Surf on over and enjoy.

Good question. I have not spent too much time there (maybe 5 minutes tops) but I can't say that I've heard anyone saying, "you've got to go see..." this or that. I would guess that there are about 17 dealers this year. Kind of small compared with previous years. But since you asked, I will check it out. In the meantime, let me know if there is anyone here you would like me to track down for an interview. Ron Gordon from Australia contacted me via The Magic Word Facebook page and requested that I chat with Bill Seagraves. I did, and I did. It is in the recent daily update (Day Three).

Angelo Carbone( I think that's the name ) has a new trick called " Cue The Magic " and I was wondering if this was getting much attention.

Sorry, I didn't see your note until this morning (it's 2:00 a.m. and I am editing the next podcast for delivery in the next half hour). The convention is over and the dealers are packed up so I couldn't check it out. However, I did seek out Roger Dreyer who told me what was selling well at his booth. You will hear his interview on the next podcast from the final day of the convention.

I hope you enjoy the podcasts.

Hi Scott:

I want you to know how much I've enjoyed listening to your podcasts of the IBM convention. My favorites were listening to Fielding West talk about Las Vegas in the past...especially interesting was his story about getting roughed up by Sinatra's guys.

Another highlight was the interview with Jade. Although that one was short, it was nice to get caught up with her career. I'm going to go back and listen again because you had so much good stuff. I'm really glad you took your time with each person instead of doing a quick conversion.

I can't wait for your MAGIC Live podcast.

Thanks again,

Ron Reid

Thank you Ron Reid, for your nice compliments on my interviews and podcast. I appreciate that you like the longer interviews rather than short chats. I always try to give them a friendly feel as if the listener was eavesdropping on a private conversation between or among friends, because that's what they are. I feel very blessed and fortunate for the opportunities to have known and/or worked with so many of these people over the past 30+ years.

Ron, you and all listeners would be doing me a HUGE favor if you could post a comment and a five star rating on iTunes for my podcast. It doesn't take much time but goes a long way in getting out the (magic) word. Thanks in advance for your help.

And as to MAGIC Live!, you might prepare yourself by going into the archives on the website to hear the last MAGIC Live! podcasts (from 2011).

Thank you, Ron Reid for your generous help. I look forward to seeing your review and rating. So far, nothing is showing up.

And thank you, too, Jon Barr, for your kind words. I'm humbled that people are listening and enjoying the podcast. If you can, Jon, then I'd appreciate you posting that on iTunes, too.

Thanks everyone.
