I just sent in my registration and made my hotel reservation for Bill Pitts' Cavalcade of Magic. As usual, my boys will be in attendance with me. Anyone else going?

If you've never been to one of Bill's Cavalcades, it is a very nice small convention. Some of us regulars have nicknamed it "Bill and Ruth's Big Party." Bill likes to get a lot of local talent for the shows. I've performed several times there. Year before last, my younger son had his magic debut there. I also like it because the registration fee is for the FAMILY. There's not a separate charge for each attendee. Between registration and hotel at other conventions, this is the only one I can afford to take my kids to...and they look forward to it every year. So, if you haven't decided if you'd like to go to Eureka Springs at the end of March, yet....make plans to do so!

I will be there, arriving Friday late afternoon.

I'll be there - hopefully arriving Thursday night the 27th. A bunch of us from Ring 75 hang out together and have a blast and sometimes find bargains from dealers while they are setting up. It is the most "fun" convention I go to and I go to quite a few. I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Lucy and I will be there Thursday.

Lucy never gets stage fright but last night she could not sleep worrying because Ruth Pitts will see her act. Women! Since Ruth has seen my act and invited me back anyway, others have nothing to fear. LOL

I just got back from buying our "on the road" snacks. So we are ready!

PS -- I got a message from Robert (Bob) Kohler that he will be there too.

My group will be arriving late late late Thursday night. Ryan is so anxious to get there that he made me promise that we are leaving the Memphis area shortly after Ben gets in from school on Thursday. It's about a six hour drive for us from where we are. Ryan is on Spring Break, so he won't miss any school, but Ben had Spring Break a couple of weeks ago, and I only feel comfortable keeping him out of school one day. Tomorrow will be a busy day for me!
