Just finished reading Bigger Fish for the second time and I'm stunned by how much details I missed from my first run!
This time I picked up my trusty notebook and wrote all the details and ruses to use in another routines, so many good principles scattered throughout the book, it's insane

Lucky For me I got to see pete perform a close up version of awaap at the weekend and must say it was amazing!
When I read awaap in bigger fish I could only imagine how it would look and after seeing pete perform it live made me think that with a little bit of tweeking you can perform mostly

Peter performed awaap for two girls in a pub with me and his friend tom (top bloke), the four of us were floored by it even though I know the method
I said it before and I will say it again I'm glad there is only 50 copies of bigger fish, the less people know these effects the better!

We went through quite a few things.
I'd seen the name/place on the Skype lecture before so knew what to expect.

We touched on all kinds of things from PK touching to book tests.
From spectator as mind reader to telephone mentalism.

A very worthwhile 3 hours.

I would like to offer my thoughts on 'Bigger Fish' and the even Bigger Fish, Peter Turner himself.

Allow me to explain, I purchased Pete's book a couple of weeks ago as an early birth anniversary present to myself and more importantly I met Peter Turner.
I PM'ed him on here (at 11pm approx) and he was online so he swiftly replied, I sent him the payment for Bigger Fish via paypal and received an email within minutes. Peter thanked me for buying the book and included, as a gift, his skype lecture, a draft copy of Isabella's Star and his Symphony of Silence ebook.

An extremely generous gesture. Which is indicative of his nature, Pete is a really great guy. I know this because after he emailed me his skype address we chatted and he showed me MY book that he would be sending the next morning. He then proceeded to perform each effect from the book, every one 100 times stronger than the effect descriptions read. My mind was blown, after a moment basking in the pleasure of amazement he began explaining the methods to me and teaching me all the subtle nuances.

So I received personal tuition on material I purchased minutes before. Customer service, no. It was 'Bigger' than service.

But this isn't the main reason he's a BIG FISH. Speaking of fish... I have said this before but it bears saying again. I think that the key principles behind this kind of mentalism are EVOLUTIONARY.

Me and Peter have chatted at length many times since we met and discussed many topics and areas of the mystery arts.

I feel that the next evolutionary step is 'Real Mind-Reading', a symbiotic combination of methods, ideas, psychology, linguistics and more.

Let those with ears hear and those with eyes see...let those with minds think.

It's not a routine but the confirmation principle is my favorite idea in his book, I know It will enhance my mind reading performance. Brilliant!

I'll second that Parmenion.

Peter is also expanding the confirmation principle, he has already shown me several new uses for it.

It is principles like this that elevate our mind-reading to an incredible level and we need more of them. (get thinking Peter!)
