Although I believe one of his founding business partners is an Abbott family member. I thought that is what FAB stands for : Fisher-Abbott . (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about that , but that's what I recall reading when the shop first opened.)

I have purchased from all three of the shops in Colon : Abbott's , FAB, and Sterlini and will continue to do so.
