Is is just me, or do coins tend to fall and roll into hard to reach places all the time?

I know exactly how you feel!!!
Everytime I've dropped a coin...
it always rolls under a desk, behind an appliance, through someones legs, outside into the great unknown....
ugh! it's irritating.
DARN COINS! WHY CANT THEY BE SQUARE? LOL.
At least then they wouldn't roll away.

I dropped coins when I'm learning new sleights, and you're right, they always roll to some hard to reach places. There was once I lost a coin and found it one month later... maybe the coin did a vanishing act.

I have about 20 English pennies beside my lazy-boy. I'm always messing with them while the wife and I watch movies. As soon as they have all fallen through the cracks of the chair (most go right through to the floor) I tilt it up, grab them all up, and start all over again.
AND, while I'm in the chair there is absolutely no danger of dropping one on my toe!

I call that move the 'floor vanish'.
I am a master at it!! I was thinking of putting it on video.

I know how you feel...
What would you do if you dropped a coin unique and it rolled under a really hard-to-get-to place???
Back at the magic...

LOL, I'm not surprised...
Here in the UK they're £40.00 (about $100.00???) a piece so I don't think I'd be dropping it in a hurry...
If I did, well...
Back at the magic...

I dropped a coin and it bounced under cabinet underneath a sink. I can't get to it without taking out some woodwork. I've tried a vacuum hose -- it's just part of the house now...

Why is it that usually the most expensive coins (silver half dollars --> 6 bucks each!!) vanish and not the copper pennies?

Hello everybody, my name is Marduke and I am a coinaholic. It's been 3 hours since my last coin trick. I know I'm getting better everyday. I refuse to go to bed practicing my sleights anymore because it's impossible to find my shiny round fiends in the morning.
(not to mention my girlfriend) I can still hear them calling to me from the deep pockets of my mind. The craving may never go away.
But I have to remember,
I'M THE ONE IN CONTROL.
Thank you all for your kind support.

Hi everyone
If anyone is intrested, I keep a radio antenna that I got from radioshack for like .95 cents in my close up case for situations like this, also some sticky tac to put on the end of it. So far I have been able to retrieve almost every coin so far.

I dropped a walking liberty half at a friends house & the thing vanished. It reappeared about a month later in a place we had looked.
