Will be adding sound and sound recording for each button today. This will can then be switched on or off in the Settings for rvThumper.

Will work great with an earpiece. Could record say a high pitched sound and a low pitched sound to each button to help direct the performer to a hidden object .. or left or right.

Will keep you posted on the developments.

Will also be making this and the rvPhotoCube's available for Android once Google confirms the Bluetooth low energy 4.0 stack for Android.

I just implemented audio recording and playback for the rvThumper ... video will be put up soon. Selecting sound shuts the vibration off.

Also .. found that this would make a great audio transition because the sound could be a high quality recording of music .. the buttons could be used to start playback of track 1 (button 1) or start playback of track 2 (button 2).

Bluetooth 4.0 is HIGHLY reliable .. these BLE sensors are used in medical equipment in hospitals where things communicate with one another.

So - as I understand it - this is not currently available on the Apple App Store?

Seems to be a great idea. I carry my iPhone in my pocket all the time - so it would be a great thumper accessory.

When, where and how will the FOB be available - along with the app????

Just finishing it up today ... will have to figure out pricing etc.

I'm making the screen images for the Apple store right now.

The device and app will only work on the iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 only (not the iPhone 4).
If you have Siri on your iPhone then you have the 4s or 5. The sensor communicates reliable at about 35 feet.

I might make a special version for the ipad 3rd and 4th generation, mini-ipad and the ipod touch 5th generation .. but since the iPhones only have vibrators in them this version would be sound only for earpieces.

The ipads tend to around 3x the distance than the iPhones because they have better antennas. So this version would be great for stage.

RvThumper almost done ... will be in a small factory designed remote keyfob with 5 different buttons.
Finishing up app now. Will have to get it approved by Apple. Can send 1..5 thumps to iphone.
Keyfob is re-chargable ... plugs into any 5v source using a USB cable.

After this is finished will be working on Android version (should be a piece of cake) .. and
no approval necessary.

I will probably include rvThumper in the Mentalists Toolbox as another function ... I was thinking that the probability of Apple approving this by itself would probably be impossible.
