I am having a lot of fun with Card Now. Basically it is the same as Card2Phone but you can make your own objects as long as they are rectangular. I am a pharmacist and decided to have some fun with a Viagra box. First I tried producing the entire Viagra box but it is a little bulky and you have to watch your angles. Then I just cut the top of the box and produce that. I explain I am always ready if I go on a date and then produce the piece of the Viagra box. It gets great reactions and lots of laughter. The size of the box is about the same size as a business card.

For a future update I would like to see the ability to easily switch between previous saved images. When I was doing the Viagra bit someone asked for a business card. It would have been nice to be able to immediately call up the business card I had been using earlier.

That's the first time I've heard of the app being used as a Viagra dispenser. It always comes back to sex!

We're working on it magicmarkworldwide2. Just taking a brief breather. A lot of work went into version 1.

Maybe you can glue the top of the box to a blister 6 pack of
Dentyne chewing gum.. It'll pass for Viagra. ...

This is absolutely a terrific and brilliant app. Kudos to you guys Damian. I agree on the desire to save multiple card images and be able to switch.

There's a 'Pro' version in development with that feature Dan

For all of you that requested it, 'multiple cards' are now available in the 'Pro' version of the app.

If you install the latest update, as well as the new features, you'll see an option to upgrade.

The pro version gives you multiple cards AND the ability to add your own artwork instead of using the camera

Card Now for Android ?

Hi all,
Please click the link below if you would be interested in Card Now being available on Android.

I need to work out how much to invest into converting the app. The calculation will be simple. If the number of people who show interest mean that I'll make a profit in a reasonable time frame, I'm going to get it produced as quickly as I can. If the number of people who show interest is much lower than that, it will go back onto my "Maybe, one day" list.

I'm sorry to report that Card Now is unlikely to be made for Android in the near future.

I posted the link yesterday in all of the places I posted the Card Now for iPhone link when that was released. The iPhone app went to number 5 in it's section in the app store within 48 hours! I'll not say how many sales that was, but it was good

The result of asking the same networks if I should invest my money and time in an android version has only resulted in about 30 responses. 20 of those said they would definitely buy the app. The rest said that they would 'probably buy it if the price is right'.

To put this in perspective, I would have wanted at least 10x the response to feel it would definitely bring me a profit within a reasonable time frame.
Unless the numbers go mad in the next 24 hours, I think I'll be sticking to iPhone apps.

Sorry if this is bad news to some of you.
