Balloons magic works perfect on the Ipad.

Many people think at first that the app can "listen" to the colors the spectator choose.
( and it is not true at all)
So I always ask them to say anumber between 1-4 or just show with the fingers
Or say if they want the ballon on the right or left or second to the right or left.

The reactions I get are amazing...

Since the phone appears to be responding to an external sound (clap) the easy answer would be it also responds to naming the color. We all know spectators love to lock on to the easy, "obvious" answer, even if it is not possible.

Insted of claping I say the spectator name out loud or use a knife
To tap on a glass.
Many times I use the company name or the sloagan of the company

None of which alleviates the issue. But I'm sure there is a creative solution to be found.

The audience may think that it is voice recognitaion but you prove them it is not.
They can write down the color or point with the fingers or say a number.
It make it stronger when you repeat the effect few times.
Some times I ask them to name any color and name another one which I say
Out loud in order to burst the first choosen color

Many times I start and say that they are going to choose a color but I tell them that maybe
The iphone/ipad can "hear it" so please don't say your color out loud, just que it.

Spend the 99 cents and you will see how strong reactions you get for less then a $

Excellent effect wow!!!!!! My favorite on iPhone so far by far and I downloaded ALL apps available for magic...

This is going to force me to go to OS4 - I have resisted it up to now, but I can't download the app without upgrading. I'm sure it will be worth it, though.

Have done so now and I LOVE this effect. It's gotten great reactions so far ! I also love the added benefit of being able to edit my play-lists in my phone as well

Just playable in very silent environment...
