Anyone tried Hoodoo before? Hoodoo is different from Voodoo. People quite often think the two are the same, but they are not. Voodoo is a religion, whereas Hoodoo is a group of magical practices. Hoodoo will not work unless you believe. I found out about this by watching the movie "The Skeleton Key". Hoodoo can be real strong.
I wonder if the West Africans are for or against magicians.

Do you mean the victim, so to speak, needs to believe before it works on them or the Hoodoo Queen performing it needs to believe or both?
In my neck of the woods, at the card table by the way, Hoodoo means, like Jinxed.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

David Blaine performing magic in Haiti. They thought he was the real deal and were afraid of him. He tried explaining that what he was doing was not what they thought. Did no good!
