There's no need to try to humiliate anyone. It may sound like fun, but it really just keeps the cr*p going. I've known lots of "rough" types in high school - drug addicts, bullies, gang members, even Satanists (for real!) . . . and they are all just people, and they actually do appreciate someone treating them with respect for a change. Usually these kinds of people are constantly so pumped up for a confrontation that they seem a bit relieved when somebody is actually nice. And if people are giving you such a hard time that you can't go on, you can always end the show and just thank them for their time and then move on. Magicians are supposed to be special people, and insulting or humiliating someone to teach them a lesson isn't really anything special and magical. To see someone handle a big disruption with real class . . . that would seem almost magical to me . . .
