Since a magician is an actor playing a character, it would seem that the magician should seek to look like whatever that character would look like.
Since each magician's character will be different there shouldn't a right way for a magician to look. A street magician would certainly look different from a magician at a formal dinner. On the other hand since all magicians are presenting someone who has control of the physical world around them, seems like a touch of class would be impied.

What should a magician look like?
