I recently bought the Sharpie Thru Anything from what I considered to be a reputable on line supplier. I was replacing the one I lost and had bought about 15 years ago. That was the original. I’m certain the one I have now is a knock off.

The original had a super strong (gimmick). You could pull the pen out of the bill in front of their faces without hesitation. It was great! It was one of my favorite take everywhere effects. I’d combine it with other bill related effects.

My new one has a weaker (gimmick) and the pen comes apart half the time, ruining the effect completely.

Can someone advise me if I can replace the you know what with a stronger one? How do I go about it? I would truly appreciate advice.
