Anyone know where I can buy blocks of soft sponge ball material. I want to make my own foam props. Also any books on building your own.

Wiz Kid Qua-Fiki's "One Fish, Two Fish" e-Book in The Wizards' Journal # 20 shows you how he makes his cute sponge fish by transforming regular sponge balls with googley eyes and fins and tails. The same technique can turn them into bunnies, puppies, kittens and probably many more cute critters.
At the Wiz Kids, we teach the Kids how to make foam rubber props using Dollar Store bags of soft sponges, but we've never written up the techniques used because we've always figured it was too easy to bother with.
