Nothing Earth-shattering, Magi, but it IS a substantial (okay, overbuilt) gizmo that - unlike the Indian imports - will actually lift a tie.

Yeah, Leland, the old EZ Magic gag versions are horrible.

I have used the impromptu version using a snap bracelet.

I always wanted to make one using a small actual hinge to raise and lower the tie.
