I've had a look at the spider pen, but I'd prefer a rubber band construction so I don't need batteries, and I'm always ready to go.

I tried building an ITR out of some brass tubes, but it doesn't exactly constitute an 'every day object' - it also seems to 'stick' a bit.

My question is - does anyone have any texts, advice, or can you point me in the direction of anyone who is building their own ITRs? I'd like to have some everyday objects 'handy' - specifically I'd like to use our corporate pens that my customers and staff see regularly. (Also I like a good project!)
