There's an upcoming venue for me on March third, and I've decided to fit my props to the theme. I made one prototype, and it works, but I wish to improve it with your ideas.
The routine is the chop cup. I am to use a wine glass with a concave, thickened base, then put the M thing before the neck starts. It works, and the small ball I have is almost not visible when placed inside. So far it works... but like I said, I'd appreciate your input.

David Regal has a coins thru table routine that uses a "rock" glass to manipulate the coins, sort of a "pseudo chop cup"; not the same as what you have in mind, but it might give you some ideas for a routine or an alternate method; The routine can be found on Volume 1, Tricks! The Magic of David Regal; the effect is "Clearly Impossible".
