Looks like good work, obviously not built to be easily disassembled.

The whole height about the whole prop is about 100" (external height) - not inclusive of platform height and the the castor.

Height of the inside doorway its about 78".

Thanks Bryan, Lusion and Photius for the nice compliments.

Here are some up to date photos.

The following shows how to afix formica..

Super Strong Contact glue is used on to surface to be glued....
Image

Glue is even sprend onto surface and allow it to be semi-dry and formica is place in position to be glued.....You can see that both side edge is not smooth..
Image

A power trimmer is used to smooth the side..(right side is smooth for this picture)
Image

After 5-10 mintues of careful trimming ...both sides are smoothen out.
Image

This is a biggest piece of all in the illusion...the side wall.

that's all for now..more picture will update again..

Very well made, and very attractive. Best of luck with it, maybe you could post a video link of it in action when you use it???? Would be great to see it onstage, under stage conditions to get the full effect. Can't wait to see your future projects!

Mark

BTW, how many people can the illusion produce? And do you have to use the curtain for cover or could you use pyro in venues that allow?

Aaron,

I want to complement you on your generousity to posting your project in a thread like this. This is simply a great and wonderful way for everyone to learn through the process that you go through. It truely is magicians helping magicians. I respect you for that and thank you as well.

I really like how you built this and it shows the hard work and dedication you have put into the work that you do. I wish you the very best of luck and success in your endeavours and hope that you will grow your illusion building business.

I would be happy to work with you on some ideas of my own as well as help assist you on graphic design ideas for the illusions you build for yourself and your customers. It would be my pleasure. Once again thank you for sharing the process with us. It really has opened my eyes and educated me as well.

Well... its big! ha ha

But I must say, very nice work on it, and I would love to see a video of it in action!

What do you plan to transport the peaces in? Do you have huge cases as well, because that would be awesome! NO sense building a nice prop, and wrecking it in transport.

I'd love to see more of your work soon!

To MagicMarkDaniel,

I pm you about the video..Check your pm.

To Kyle,

Thanks Kyle, you are a great guy since the first day I knew you. Anyway, I would like to thank you for the great compliments and the chance to work together.

Thanks for the blessing in my business. Thanks for all Kyle.

To Samp321,

Thanks for the compliment Sam, I appreciate that. Well you are not bad too. I saw some of your works they are excellent too.

Its sad to say that there is no performance video of this illusion. As this is not meant for me but for one of singapore magician. So if you like to see more of this video in action. I advise you to go to magicmakersillusions.com to view the demostration of this illusion. Here is the site -

http://www.magicmakersillusions.com/

Its under "Original Illusion" section. Check it out.

Well we delivered the whole unit into a 8FT van with no ATA cases. As they do not want the ATA case and they just want the illusion itself. Therefore I just build the illusion for them. If this was mine, ATA is a must. LOL

Hope to see more of your work too !

Cheers Guys.

Regards
Aaron Chee.

It looks like your spandex is a little loose. I would have recommended putting the opening in the fabric further upstage and switched the 2 pieces so that you've got your opening facing upstage. Currently, the audience is looking into the opening which may create a dark shadow where the opening is once it is on a lit stage.

That tiny detail aside, I think it looks nice! Good stuff, keep it up.

Thanks Chris for the pointing out the problem. We realise the same problem too. We have made some changes to the spandex. Everything goes well, as what we expected.

Thanks Photius. Thanks for great comment. Cheers Photius.

Just a little advise to builder out there or people who wanna start to build illusion.

Here is a little illusion tip that I wanna share. This tip might seems that lots of illusion builders have repeat and repeat again. But not many would like to take the great tip.

The tip that I wanna highlight is build the illusion with cardboard or build a minature model of the illusion that you are building before proceed building the actual size.

Believe me, it helps. It will save you tons of $$$ and give you a better picture what to do while you are processing with the manufacturing. Trust me it will solve some of the problem that you will never foresee. You will be surprise to what I say here. Just build a minature and you will get what I meant.

Here is some little minature that I build before I build the actual. It helps me a lot in all ways.

Just to share some pictures with you all. Enjoy !
