Hi! Anyone here on the Café tried to build a grid backdrop like the ones used in Million Dollar Illusion? Thanks for info!

I made one using standard theater flat construction (a 1x2 frame covered in canvas, then painted). I have three panels which have legs on the back which fold out, and these panels are set in place, clamped together, and weighed down with sandbags. The grid design camoflauges two trap doors. The doors themselves are made of solid 1/2 inch ply, then covered in the same fabric and painted. Let me know if you need more details.
