Thought this was interesting: Amazon.com has opened up a new (beta) online store section for fasteners, tubing, bearings, springs, and other high-tech project materials. They call it 'Industrial & Scientific' so that kind of gives you the gist of the market they're going for.

I had seen some raw materials returned as part of an unrelated search and I promptly forgot about them again.

I did a search yesterday and found some very thin (.025") metal tubing that I can use for a needle gag.

I was having a lot of problems finding anything that thin in a usable length.
