Any ideas for funny magic performed by a goofy farmer, that doesn't require too many specialised props?

The appearing spade would be a good prop for a goofy farmer. If you're familiar with the appearing pole, it is along the same lines as that prop.

You could also do a bit of searching around for a puppet that is like Rocky Raccoon...

However at this point in time I would prefer to use items I can easily source around the house, instead of having to acquire lots of magic props, since this is a one-off thing.
